Betfred Pays Out on Liverpool Winning the Premier League
Fred Done, the Co-Founder of Betfred, has paid out more than £1 million for Liverpool to win the Premier League, despite the fact that there are 11 matches remaining in the 2024/25 season.

This is the tenth time the bookmaker has declared a premature conclusion to the Premier League under Done’s leadership. Out of those occasions, seven have proven correct, including last season when Betfred paid £750,000 early on Manchester City winning their fourth consecutive title.
Betfred Had the Best Odds on Liverpool Winning
Done’s first early payout took place in 1998 when he backed Manchester United to secure the title. However, on that occasion, he was incorrect as United went on to lose a 12-point advantage and allowed Arsenal to overtake them by a single point. Since then, Betfred has only been incorrect once more with an early call.
Going into this season, Betfred offered the best odds in the market for Liverpool to win the league at 9/1. Ahead of the start of the season, Done boasted that he planned to use the funds from Liverpool backers for a Bahamas vacation at the end of the season.
