The British operator received the go-ahead after a successful three-day soft launch and testing period in the state. Bet365 started the soft launch on Tuesday, July 16, from noon to 8 pm. The operator extended its hours on Wednesday, July 17, offering its services from noon to 10 pm. The soft-launch phase was completed on July 18, with services available from noon to midnight.
Now that Bet365 has received the green light from the PGCB, it is cleared to offer its full gambling and sports betting services to players in the Keystone State. Pennsylvania will become the 11th US state in which Bet365 will go live, following its previous launches in other jurisdictions like Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Ohio, New Jersey, and Virginia.
Bet365 began its foray into Pennsylvania online casino and sports betting markets a year ago, when it partnered with Presque Isle Downs & Casino. This partnership turned out pivotal to the operator's current PA success.
While the PGCB has confirmed bet365’s full approval, the operator has yet to comment on its latest achievement in the state.
