Ben Hurst to Lead 888’s North American Expansion Drive
Veteran sports executive Ben Hurst has been named the new Vice President of North American Expansion of global betting company 888.
Before his appointment, Hurst served as the Head of Digital for Madison Square Garden Entertainment Group (MSG), overseeing transformation projects for franchises of the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, MSG, Radio City, The Beacon Theatre, and others.
He also worked at Viacom for nine years, where he handled several senior roles, including the position of the Senior Vice President of Mobile Platforms and Digital Partnerships for Paramount Entertainment.
In his new role, Hurst will plan and lead strategic growth opportunities for 888 in North America. He will also oversee business development for the SI Sportsbook and SI Casino brands as part of a US partnership with Authentic Brands Group.
We are thrilled to welcome Ben to our US team in his new role as VP. Over the past year or so, I had the pleasure of working with him in a consulting capacity, and I am fully convinced that his industry expertise and familiarity with our company make him an ideal leader to further propel our US operations into the future.
Last month, 888 Holdings published its 2022 financial results, which reported revenue of £1.39 billion, up 74% from the previous year. The company also recorded a reduction in its debts, from £110 million to £68 million.
