Maverick Gaming brings to the table a wealth of experience, owning four casinos across Nevada, three in Colorado, and an impressive portfolio of 23 card rooms in Washington. Despite this expansive presence, Bally's will retain operational control of the 23-table poker room.

"Our goal is to elevate the gaming experience of our poker room by tapping into the knowledge and experience of Maverick Gaming to attract world-renowned poker players and position the Bally's Maverick Poker Room as the premier poker destination in the region. We intend to increase revenue to the state from our enhanced offering and create new employment opportunities as we build a more robust poker product. "

Located on the smoke-free second floor of the casino, the room is designed to offer a premium experience to players. The partnership's fruition is contingent upon receiving the green light from Rhode Island's regulatory bodies, a process watched closely by the gaming community.

Building on Success

The Bally's Maverick Poker Room is not just about tournaments; it will also offer a variety of cash games to cater to different preferences and skill levels. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to diversify the gaming options available at Bally's Twin River. It reflects the brand's commitment to providing a comprehensive and enjoyable gaming environment.

The partnership between Bally's and Maverick is not new; they previously collaborated on a poker room at the Tropicana Las Vegas Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. Although the Tropicana property closed earlier this year, the partnership's legacy continues with this new venture in Rhode Island.

While Bally's retains the day-to-day management, the partnership with Maverick Gaming signifies a strategic shift towards enhancing the overall poker experience at Bally's Twin River. By leveraging Maverick Gaming's knowledge and expertise in the poker industry, the Bally's Maverick Poker Room is poised to attract a wider range of players, from casual enthusiasts to seasoned professionals.
