Winner Described a Thrill Like No Other
Talking about the win, Hickman said that the adrenaline was incredible, and he described it as the most exhilarating experience of his life.
The California State Lottery shared in his joy, with officials expressing hope that this windfall would transform Hickman’s life. Among his plans, Hickman intends to fulfill his lifelong ambition of buying a home for his wife. He has been a regular player of Set For Life, previously winning $1,000, but never imagined securing such a significant sum.
Several Jackpots Won in California
This winning streak was not an isolated win in California. Teresa Martinez also hit a jackpot, winning $5 million from a 100x scratch ticket purchased at a gas station.
Moreover, German Medina Zapata and The-Ah Lin joined the list of lucky winners, each securing $5 million and $1 million, respectively, from scratch tickets bought in San Francisco and Hayward.
Additionally, a duo named Eric Holtzman and Matoux De La Croix shared a $5 million jackpot from a Premier 7’s scratcher. This series of wins coincided with another massive win earlier in the month, a $3 million digital lottery ticket purchase in Colorado, a record for the service provider.
