2024 WSOP Main Event Draws Record Crowd and Pool Prize

The 2024 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas has set a new record for the highest number of entries and the largest prize pool in the tournament's history.

The 2024 WSOP bracelet features 445 grams of 10-karat yellow gold and over 2,500 gemstones.

The $10,000 buy-in event attracted 10,112 participants, a notable increase from the 10,043 entrants in 2023. Day 1D of the event saw an impressive turnout of about half of the total players, at 5,014.

Over $94 million Pool Prize

The total prize pool for the event reached $94 million, surpassing the previous record of $93,399,900 set in 2023. Like last year, every player who reaches the final table in the 2024 WSOP main event will get a seven-figure payout.

Additionally, for the second consecutive year, the champion will receive over $10 million and the prestigious WSOP bracelet. Last year, Daniel Weinman finished in first place and went home with over $12 million, the first eight-figure payout in the history of the WSOP main event.

All players who finish in the top 1,517 spots will share the prize pool, with a minimum payout of $15,000 for each player who cashes.

The 2024 WSOP bracelet has been designed by Jostens and features 445 grams of 10-karat yellow gold, as well as over 2,500 gemstones, like diamonds, rubies, and black onyx.

As of yesterday, Tuesday, July 9, when the WSOP main event resumed, 3,617 players remained in contention for the coveted bracelet.
